Hellblade 2 fær flestar BAFTA-tilnefningar – Íslensk leikkona á meðal tilnefndra

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 hefur hlotið flestar tilnefningar á BAFTA-leikjaverðlaununum 2025, með 11 tilnefningar.

Þrátt fyrir þetta er leikurinn ekki tilnefndur í flokknum Besti leikurinn, að því er fram kemur á eurogamer.net, en RÚV greindi fyrst íslenskra miðla frá tilnefningunni.

Þess í stað eru eftirfarandi leikir tilnefndir í þeim flokki:

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Astro Bot og Still Wakes the Deep fengu hvor um sig átta tilnefningar, meðan Thank Goodness You’re Here! hlaut sjö tilnefningar. Black Myth: Wukong fékk sex tilnefningar og Helldivers 2 fimm.

Leikirnir Animal Well, Balatro, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 og Lego Horizon Adventures fengu hver um sig fjórar tilnefningar.

BAFTA-leikjaverðlaunin 2025 fara fram í London þann 8. apríl og verða sýnd í beinni útsendingu á YouTube og Twitch.

Eitt af helstu nöfnunum í tengslum við BAFTA-leikjaverðlaunin í ár er Aldís Amah Hamilton, íslensk leikkona sem er meðal radda í Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.  Aldís, sem hefur leikið í vinsælum sjónvarpsþáttum eins og Svörtu söndum og The Valhalla Murders, hefur slegið í gegn fyrir leik sinn og raddsetningu í tölvuleikjum.

Með hæfileikum sínum hefur hún fest sig í sessi sem einn af efnilegustu leikurum Íslands.
